Terms of Service
These terms apply when you ask Rapid Roadside Solution LLC to come out to a vehicle. The two worth reading before you pay anything are arrival times and the dispatch deposit.
What this service is
Rapid Roadside Solution LLC provides light-duty roadside assistance : jump starts, car lockouts, flat tire changes, mobile battery replacement and fuel delivery. The work is carried out where your vehicle is standing.
We are not a workshop, a locksmith, a dealership or a mechanic. Roadside assistance gets a vehicle moving again where that is reasonably possible; it is not a repair service and it does not come with a promise that your particular fault can be fixed at the roadside.
What we do not do
- Cutting, coding or programming keys.
- Draining or flushing a tank that has been filled with the wrong fuel.
- Mechanical repairs, diagnostics beyond what is needed for the job, or bodywork.
- Heavy commercial vehicles and equipment.
If what you need is your vehicle transported rather than attended where it stands, tell us on the phone and we will say straight away whether we can help.
Arrival times
You are given an estimated time of arrival on the phone before anyone is dispatched. It is an estimate, based on where a driver is and what the traffic is doing. It is not a guarantee , and no response time promised verbally or shown on this site should be read as one.
If the estimate slips materially we will contact you. You may cancel at that point under the cancellation terms below.
Prices
Most daytime services run $65 to $85 without complications. After dark, services start at $100 . You are quoted a price on the phone before anyone rolls out.
Where a job involves a part rather than only labour — a battery, a tire, or the fuel itself — that part is priced separately from the service and both figures are given to you on the same call.
If, on arrival, the job turns out to be materially different from what was described on the phone, it is re-quoted before any work begins . You are free to decline the revised price, subject to the deposit terms below.
The dispatch deposit
Most jobs are confirmed with a deposit taken through a secure payment link before a driver is dispatched. The amount is shown on the payment page before you pay anything.
The deposit is credited in full against the final balance. It is not an additional charge and it is not a booking fee on top of the quoted price.
The deposit covers dispatch and the initial inspection — the cost of sending a driver and equipment to your location and assessing the vehicle. Once a driver has been dispatched it is non-refundable , including where the inspection shows the fault cannot be resolved at the roadside.
Cancellations and refunds
- You cancel before a driver is dispatched — the deposit is refunded in full.
- We are unable to attend — the deposit is refunded in full.
- You cancel after dispatch — the deposit is retained, because the cost it covers has been incurred.
- We attend and the fault cannot be fixed at the roadside — the deposit is retained; no further charge is made.
Refunds are returned to the card or account used to pay, and can take several working days to appear.
Your vehicle and your responsibilities
By requesting service you confirm that you own the vehicle or are authorised to arrange work on it. For lockouts we will ask you to show identification or documentation tying you to the vehicle before a door is opened , and we will decline the job if that cannot be produced.
You are responsible for telling us the true condition of the vehicle, including any existing damage, modifications, locking wheel nut keys, aftermarket security or anything else that affects the work. Vehicles are worked on in the condition they are found.
Some vehicles, locks and components carry an inherent risk of damage during otherwise correct roadside work. Where we believe that risk is real we will tell you before starting so that you can decide.
Safety
If anyone is injured, or a vehicle is blocking a live lane of traffic, call 911 before you call us. Emergency services are equipped for that and we are not.
We may decline or abandon a job at any point where the location cannot be worked safely. Your deposit is handled under the terms above.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Illinois law, our liability arising out of any job is limited to the amount you paid for that job. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — missed appointments, lost earnings, alternative transport or similar.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of Cook County, Illinois.
Changes
These terms may be updated. The version in force is the one published here on the date you request service, and the date it was last changed is shown at the top of this page.

If anything here is unclear, call (773) 985-3821 and ask before you pay. See also our privacy policy.
